Additional Comments

Maybe experiment with wristbands further but they look amazing still.

I agree with the feedback I have been given and I would have liked to make the map more legible however I think photographs would not fit in with the style of the design and might stand out and look funny.  If I was to re-design the wristbands again I would like to have them printed on the real paper wristband stock if I could get my hands on some.

Tote Bag Design

Julia Pott is a massive influence on me as I find her work really quirky and interesting.  Here are a few images that helped me get to my final design of the TOTE BAG.

Knockengorroch Re-Brand

Designs so far...  Wristbands for Under 18's, Over 18's and Stewards.  Stickers to collect to remember the festival.  A couple of t-shirt designs to sell on.

Below is the map of the festival ground.  It is to be folded up in the 'hot-dog' format with the line-up printed on the back.  Unfortunately before printing I didn't think to put markings for a trail/road running through the field.

Below is the line-up poster I have designed.  I quite like the layout however If I could spend more time on it I would like to refine it more by moving around the images and dropping the title slightly lower down.

The Front of the flyer so far.

The Back of the flyer.

Label Designs to fix to the final printed t-shirts.

Image edited on illustrator to be printed on a Canvas Tote Bag.

Map Design

Influences:

Design so far:

The map will be in the form of an A4 hot-dog fold booklet so it is easy to store and carry.  There is to be a Line-Up Poster on the back for the festival goers to keep as a reminder.  Throughout all of my design I have used the same typeface - Tall Dark and Handsome - and the same motif of the inside of a speaker throughout with similar colours used.

T-Shirt Design

The Festival T-shirts below are from bestival and rockness.

Further Visual Research

Recently came across a book called 'Hippie' in the Library and I've found some images and quotes inside that I find very influential, inspirational and helpful in relation to my project about Music Festivals.

'San Francisco can be the American Liverpool.  Dancing is the thing, they've got to give people a place to dance.  That's what's wrong with those Cow Palace Shows.  The kids can't dance there!  They'll be no trouble when they can dance.'  Luria Castell, 'Hippie'

'Rock and Roll is the new form of communication for our generation.'  Paul Kanter, 'Hippie'
