To begin with, I drew up a few typical things you'd see on a Summer Holiday, mostly related to beauty. I have then chosen the 50's style bikini to try and make a pattern out of. At first I have used pastel colours as they are often quite popular in summer.
Taking a step back and looking at what the design looks like when placed on the can, I have decided my colour choice is a bit sickly and overly feminine.
