From my design sheets I decided to concentrate on the flame drawing below.
I was worried that the filled in flame looked like some sort of tacky sticker so I edited it to become an outline and then created a pattern from there.
At first I struggled with colour choice and then decided to go for a terracotta colour as it is warm and bold but not too bold, and still light enough for the text to stand out.
I needed a chunky font so that the lettering stood out against the background.
In the end I decided to use Bebas Neue as it is simple and trendy. I removed the full colour background because then the pattern will work well against the colour of the beer bottle.
